Humane Bee Removal, Full Hive Extraction & Ethical Relocation — Not Spray-and-Walk-Away Extermination

Honey bees are not pests — they’re pollinators, agricultural assets, and a vital part of our ecosystem. But when a hive forms inside a wall, attic, soffit, roofline, shed, or water meter box, they become a structural and safety issue that requires professional removal.

Blessed Pest Control provides live, ethical honey bee removal and relocation for homes, commercial buildings, ranches, and properties throughout the Greater San Antonio region, New Braunfels, and the Texas Hill Country.

We are not a “kill-first” pest control company. Whenever possible, we remove the bees alive, extract the hive and comb, and relocate the colony to a safe, managed location — not the trash.

We are proud members of the Texas Beekeepers Association and follow field-tested, humane, and ethical bee removal methods.

Swarm Removal vs Hive Removal

Swarm Removal

A swarm is a cluster of bees hanging from a tree, fence, vehicle, post, or structure.

  • No hive yet
  • Quick, simple relocation
  • Usually no cutting, no demo, no cleanup needed
  • Best time to relocate bees with 0 structural damage

Hive Removal / Established Colony

A hive is inside a structure and has comb, brood, honey reservoirs, and pheromone scent.

  • Must be cut-out or extracted
  • Honeycomb MUST be removed or the problem continues
  • Requires sealing the entry point
  • Takes more time and skill than a swarm removal

If bees are entering one hole on your home, there is already a hive inside.

Why Honeycomb Must Be Removed

Leaving honeycomb inside a structure causes:

  • Honey melting into insulation or drywall
  • Wood staining and rot from moisture
  • Odors when brood and bees decay
  • Ant and roach infestation
  • Rodents chewing into wall cavities for honey
  • Structural damage if honey expands during heat
  • Fermentation and mold inside walls
  • Re-infestation from future bee colonies

Removing bees without removing honeycomb is not a real solution.

Residential & Commercial Bee Removal

Leaving honeycomb inside a structure causes:
We remove bees from:

  • Attics
  • Soffits & fascia boards
  • Water meter boxes & irrigation boxes
  • Wall voids & brick cavities
  • Roof peaks & gable vents
  • Sheds, barns, and metal buildings
  • Chimneys & stucco walls
  • Tree hollows and fence posts
  • Commercial signs, storefronts & billboards

If bees enter one hole, there’s a hive behind it — don’t wait.
Removing bees without removing honeycomb is not a real solution.

Honey Bees in Scripture: A Design Worth Protecting

The Bible references bees and honey over 60 times, from the Old Testament to the New. God uses honey to symbolize blessing, nourishment, wisdom, and His provision.

“Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones” (Proverbs 16:24, NIV)

“He nourished them with honey from the rock” (Deuteronomy 32:13, NIV)

“How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth” (Psalm 119:103, NIV)

Honey bees are part of God’s intentional design, not an accident and not a “pest to spray.”

That’s why we practice ethical, live bee removal whenever possible — protecting both families and creation.

We believe pest control should reflect stewardship, not destruction.
